Pre-Production

My process is highly collaborative, ensuring we bring your vision to life seamlessly.

1. Consultation & Concept Development – We’ll discuss your goals, brand identity, and creative direction to refine the perfect concept.

2. Mood Boards & Visual Planning – I’ll create reference materials to align on style, composition, and aesthetics.

3. Documents – I will create a shot list and will do a recce and health and safety for locations outside of the studio as well ensuring that I am well prepared and already have shots in mind before hitting the trigger.

4. Final Pre-Shoot Check-In – A last review to ensure all details are in place and you feel confident in the direction.

What I will need from you is:

1. Locations

I will ask that you find locations for the shoot with permissions if you want your shoot to be out of studio conditions or if you would prefer a studio setting then I will handle this.

2. Talent & Styling Coordination

I will ask you to source the talent yourself and hire a stylist for the shoot if it is a modelling shoot.

This structured approach guarantees high-quality, brand-aligned visuals while keeping you involved every step of the way.

Production

During the production phase, my focus is on executing our carefully planned vision while maintaining flexibility for creativity and adjustments. Here’s how I ensure a smooth and successful shoot:

1. Efficient Setup & Preparation – I arrive early to set up lighting, backdrops, and camera equipment (if all is needed) ensuring everything is ready before shooting begins.

2. Client Collaboration On-Site – I work closely with you throughout the shoot, reviewing shots in real time to ensure they align with your expectations.

3. Professional Direction & Composition – I guide models, products, or subjects to achieve the perfect angles, expressions, and lighting for impactful imagery.

4. Attention to Detail – I focus on branding elements and minor adjustments to ensure high-quality, polished visuals.

5. Adaptability & Problem-Solving – Whether it’s lighting changes, last-minute tweaks, or creative inspiration, I remain flexible to get the best results.

6. Live Feedback & Adjustments – I check in with you regularly to review shots and make any necessary refinements on the spot.

By maintaining a professional yet adaptable approach, I ensure the production phase runs efficiently, capturing compelling visuals that bring your brand’s message to life.

Editing

The editing phase is where the final images are refined to ensure they align perfectly with your brand’s vision. My approach focuses on quality, consistency, and attention to detail.

1. Image Selection & Review – I carefully go through all the shots, selecting the best images based on composition, lighting, and overall impact.

2. Basic Adjustments – I enhance exposure, contrast, colour balance, and sharpness to ensure a clean and professional look.

3. Advanced Retouching – I refine details such as skin smoothing, blemish removal, background cleanup, and object enhancements where needed.

4. Brand Consistency – I ensure that the final images match your brand’s colour palette and aesthetic, creating a cohesive look across all visuals.

5. Client Collaboration & Feedback – I provide a preview of edited images for your input, making any necessary adjustments to meet your expectations.

6. Final Delivery in Multiple Formats – I deliver high-resolution images optimised for web, social media, and print, ensuring they are ready for immediate use.

This structured editing process guarantees high-quality, polished images that effectively communicate your brand’s message while keeping you involved throughout.
